What is Equine Assisted Learning?

Learning with Horses is an equine assisted learning (EAL) enrichment program for children in which students develop pre-academic/academic skills, life skills, social skills and more within the context of fun and engaging horse-related activities! This is a non riding program.

Why Equine Assisted Learning?

EAL has been effectively used to support clients in a variety of ways. Working with horses is especially useful for teaching

  • working together, teamwork

  • identifying current barriers

  • goal setting

  • setting boundaries

  • self-awareness

  • self-confidence

  • leadership

  • social skills

  • life skills

  • academics

CURRENTLY OFFERING:

Classes every Sunday 10-11:30am for children ages 5-8.
